Have you ever wondered why it's so easy to drive from the Redondo Pier to the Maine coast - around 3,150 miles away?  Well, someone mapped it.  Now we can just ask the phone to look at the map, but wouldn't it be cool to really understand map construction, history, and design?  Mr. Moore has hundreds of maps, a couple of world globes, a few atlases, some very cool pull down maps, and one very very cool giant world map.  We'll learn how to read a map, decipher a map, dream about far away places (and some near), and create our own maps this summer.

Teacher: Mr. Moore

In photography class we learn about the basics of photography like angles, zooms, backgrounds, subjects, and focus. If students have access to a digital camera, that is preferable to a phone or a tablet. If you do not have access to a digital camera, then a phone or tablet will work.
